The Lantern Theater's run of Irish playwright Martin McDonagh's The Lonesome West has been extended to October 14, 2007.
Howard Shapiro of the The Philadelphia Inquirer writes "[the] production that hits the bull's-eye throughout, two young adult brothers whose entire relationship is constructed on layers of hate, jealousy and explosive revenge try to live together without their dad - who was, himself, unhinged." Philyist calls it "a production worth seeing".

Another in the Connemara trilogy comedy from the mind of Irish playwright Martin McDonagh. This time comedy is served up with two brothers in the wake of the death of their father try to get reconciled by the local parish priest.

The Lantern Theater Company Announces 2007-2008 Season
The Lantern Theater Company, the theatre company in residence at St. Stephen's Theater, has announced its new season for 2007-2008.
Plays include The Lonesome West, The School for Wives, The Screwtape Letters, Skylight and Othello. The popular Lantern Lecture Series also makes a return.
